Connect

Connect with peers in a structured setting that offers valuable strategic thinking and collaboration opportunities. EAF is designed to engage executives and entrepreneurs at small- and medium-sized businesses in knowledge sharing and business strategies in a confidential setting. Each group includes 10 to 18 C-level members that represent a wide range of industries. EAF ensures no competitive companies participate in a single group. Members support each other with ideas, experiences, referrals and introductions. EAF is not a selling organization, and EAF members understand that it is not appropriate to solicit the business of other EAF members. It is acceptable for EAF members to purchase goods and services from one another if they choose to do so.

Desired Outcomes:  1) Bond as a group of business and community leaders. 2) Be mindful of our Strategic Priorities. 3) Understand and match team profiles and dynamics with project requirements. 4) Understand and experience the process of team dynamics. 5) Broaden and deepen our ability to lead and manage strategic growth. 6) Appreciate our progress, build on our strengths, and challenge our current realities.

Counsel

The most sustainable business application is collaboration with others and caring about their success. Applied in a confidential business setting, peer counsel can transform you and your business. It is a proven model and the most valuable benefit EAF offers its members. C-level executives help each other verify information and establish business direction, while discussing new employment trends, tax laws, and sales and marketing opportunities. EAF monthly meetings are uniquely formatted to ensure that time is shared and that each member receives the counsel and practical information that immediately impact the bottom line. EAF meetings include a review of members' successes and case studies. The discussions are not theoretical. Strategies that apply to a wide variety of business challenges are discussed and actual experiences shared. The EAF peer-counsel model produces realistic ideas and next steps for strategies that can lead to substantial savings or new revenue streams. Utilizing the advice and recommendations that evolve from the discussions is at the discretion of the EAF Member.

Create

Business executives and entrepreneurs often feel buried in day-to-day business activity. EAF encourages members to rise above the noise level and plan strategically, focus on the larger picture and capitalize on bigger business opportunities. Executive-level peers bring their sensibilities and knowledge to the table in a venue free of routine distractions. EAF offers peer sharing and counsel in a facilitated confidential setting that reduces the risks of expressing and reviewing business issues with others. The caliber of this counsel is rarely matched in a personal network. The EAF serves as an advisory board for many companies who have chosen to be part of the organization.

The chapters become most effective when information is shared openly and willingly so that other members understand circumstances and nuances. It is through the open flow of information on a sustainable monthly basis that great ideas emerge and companies grow and prosper.

The characteristics of an EAF member include:

  • Learner (beyond their own business)

  • Open-Minded

  • Visionary

  • Competent

  • Decisive

  • Adaptable
